How it's formed2
All forms2
かいkaicolloquial
味わうかい
casual, and leans male, used with someone close or younger (元気かい?). Only for yes/no questions — a question word needs だい instead (誰だい).
かねkanecolloquial
味わうかね
on a plain form it sounds like an older man talking down to someone younger (どうかね). On です/ます it just softens the question (そうですかね).
Notes
Only だ falls away before it (学生か, but 学生だったか), and
じゃないか is often just rhetorical.
