Formation
これから{V}attaches to dictionary form
Notes
予定, これからが本番 — modifying a noun rather than the verb.
Related patterns
Similar
〜ていく in its aspectual sense carries a change forward from inside the predicate and needs a verb of change to ride on (増えていく); これから fixes only the STARTING point at now and modifies any predicate at all, change or not.
Lookalikes
Both end in から and both order events, but これから counts from this moment and stands on its own, while 〜てから needs a verb in front of it and counts from that act — 食べてから is "after eating", これから "starting now".
